The Answer: Acts I, II and III

Act I: Defined by small friendships, testing time, testing the waters
in general. Growth and decay all in the same.

Act II: Defined by total loss, the bottom pit, hell, deceit and hatred, abuse both physical and substance wise, all that withers away.

Act III: Defined in rebirth, reincarnation, realization of self, the
longevity of love, the strength of family, the bond of friendship, the
lasting love that was always there... etc. the concept of love and other
emotions.

1. The glinting moment of leaving what holds us

2. "It was bound to happen".

3. First sight of the ocean, "I will be living here soon"

4. The enchantment of lust and the body, how we view flesh.

5. The feeling of sub space and how we navigate it in a haze, sometimes, happily.

6. The childlike waltz of life. The beginnings of Kate, the persona. Understanding that sometimes we are truly alone and how beautiful that is.

7. Falling in lust, and not seeing the love, feeling the tear in the chest
and realizing what could never truly be.

8. Having a dear one sort through what you have kept for so many years, "thank you for helping me go through my things".

9.The persona, the detachment, the escape, the character we all play.

10. "why can't i move on" after losing the lust.

11. Black bird that omens the tide, "It comes in threes".

12. Loving the people who push us away sometimes, in beautiful sadness, and they'll never know the lesson they provide.

13. Realization in Solitude, purposeful or not.

14. The dream of the back open church to the sea, the flooded pews, the organ glaring at the flesh so small before it.

15. The slowing of growth due to abuse.

16. The mind losing it's touch with the self, after the constant crash of waves, metaphorical waves of damage, damage from people, from substances, from hell.

17. Screaming in the face of what scares us the most.

18. The call to family, fearing they don't hear us in our time of need, fear of reaching out to someone who may hate us.

19. Held hostage in a fit by the demon Jezebel, the one who can be characterized as the persuasive abuser, the one who tears into human beings, "the general zapped an angel".

20. The burst that is brought forth in an awakening, after the abuse subsides for a moments notice, when you have been stranded, and it is the enemy and you, the test of strength, "GET UP".

21. A name you must stumble into, realizing that you are in control, that those who want to dim your light, simply cannot, as you've been here multiple times over, and you now know, they can't hurt you this time.

22. Coming home, not just physically, but back to the body, escaping the evil, reassuring the self, taking a life line, a golden balcony that glides unto your feet, weight of everything relieving itself.

23. "it's time to leave" "you can do it" "goodbye".

24. the fleeting feeling of hurt.

25. total reconstruction, the growth process, a burst of light from the seams and the edges of sub space, rattling dissonance that causes the body to cave and the eternal light of the soul to obliterate the past.

26. Spinning, dancing, twisting, flying, the overture.

27. the heartbeat, everlasting rhythm, the cure from pain, solace,
loss, gain, deep breathing, love and other emotions.

from the bottom of my being, thank you

***

a glint, a moment of thought, broken by a stream of bravery
a leap
maybe a dive into a cavern of uncertain waves
a moment
a glint,,

can you see it?

the false hope, the fall, and the rebirth in recovery

there's a staining, fighting feeling that lingers in what i try to create
to exume those feelings

i hope you find the following in what you hear:

sadness, solace, peace, floatation, growth, foliage, air,
therapy, loss, gain, love, and other emotions/experiences

i love you, thank you for Listening.

in layman's terms:

this album is about the growth, decay and rebirth of a persona: Kathryn Adeline Bash. Kathryn is the name i gave a part of my sense of self. she can be described as the person i want to become, the energy i want to put forth into the world. i had sort of attached myself to this persona as to escape a set amount of feelings and heaviness i didn't want to deal with. she has always existed, it wasn't until this past year she received a name. Kathryn is the spirit that brings me away from the human condition and the reality of hardships.

this album is an instrumental journey of my sense of self; in losing my self, finding the innermost workings of the human mind, and coming back out kicking... throwing a new perspective on life after knowing some of the darkest and deepest parts of my self.
i relate this album to a haunting time of horrifying experiences, to some of the most beautiful moments that have transcended time itself. i find beautiful things in the meltdown. it carries a sense of spiraling or disorganization. being thrown every which way. whether i am doing it to myself or not. i hope that, in the ambient pieces here you find what i experienced. maybe not. maybe so.

it's not for everybody. not all things are relevant.

in a way this is me letting go of the last three years or more, letting the burning hurt go for once. and it feels good. this is my catharsis.

i know some of these songs are short and not what you're used to when it comes to my music (relating to 20 minute pieces or so) but the timing is thoughtful and careful. i want nothing but my art to be reflective in experiences i've had.

i hope it tells a story.

i love that you've made it this far.
keep going.
thank you.

you will find various motifs and or themes, and a multitude of inspiration drawn from people like Kate Bush, to Rebecca Sugar, to Lana Del Rey, to classical composers, etc etc etc. Enjoy.
